Dr. Ella Faktorovich is a world renowned ophthalmologist. She was one of the first to perform LASIK vision correction surgery in San Francisco as well as the first to be certified by the Council for Refractive Surgery Quality Assurance. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from University of California, Berkeley. She received her medical degree from University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Faktorovich has made numerous contributions to the field ophthalmology. Her work includes conducting extensive research on corneal healing after surgery as well as publishing articles, abstracts, book chapters, and textbooks. She is recognized as one of the best doctors of America and the top 100 professionals in the world. She is also the founder and director of Pacific Vision Institute and the Annual San Francisco Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery Symposium.

Dr Srujana Sahebjada is a clinician-scientist with a strong research interest in corneal disease, vision restoration and assessment of visual performance. She is the Chief Investigator of the Keratoconus International Consortium (KIC) a global approach entailing a large-scale, international collaboration to enhance our understanding of Keratoconus, established by the Centre for Eye Research Australia (CERA).
Dr Sahebjada is a passionate science communicator, who actively participates in the events organised by the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) and Australian Society for Medical Research.

Dr. Evgeny Ivanovich Sidorenko obtained his Specialist Diploma (Doctor) in 1968 from the Kuban Medical Institute and then completed his residency in Ophthalmology from the Kazan State Medical University. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of Ophthalmology of pediatric faculty at Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, Moscow. He also a member of the M8 of WHS, the Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and considered an Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation. His main interests are Retinopathy of prematurity, cataract surgery, anti-VEGF therapy and laserphotocoagulation.

Dr. Liza Sharmini obtained her PhD (in 2012) from the University College London. Currently, she is serving as a Professor of Ophthalmology in the Department of Ophthalmology, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Her main research area is clinical and molecular research on glaucoma. Currently, she is heading the Malays Glaucoma Eye Study (MaGES). MaGES is already reaching the third phase of the research work. She is now spearheading the first phase of Chinese Glaucoma Eye Study (ChiGES). She has nearly 16 years-experience in conducting clinical and molecular research and has completed 16 national and university research grants. She has published nearly 90 manuscripts with more than 300 citations. She is also the senior consultant ophthalmologist and head of service for glaucoma in Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia. Currently, she is the head of department, Department of Ophthalmology, Universiti Sains Malaysia. She is also a life member of Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology and Malaysia Society of Human Genetics (MSHG), member of Asia Pacific Glaucoma Society and member of College of Ophthalmologists, Academy of Medicine Malaysia.

Minoru Tomita M.D, PhD is a Director of Minoru Tomita Eye Clinic Ginza in Tokyo, Japan. He has been visiting professor at Ophthalmology, Wenzhou Medical University and Hebei Provincial Eye Hospital in China. He is also an Editorial member of Journal of Refractive Surgery, BMC Ophthalmology and several other journals. He has received numerous awards from International Congress and has provided over 100 papers in famous review journal and magazine.

Dr. Burak TURGUT received his education in Medicine in Firat University, Faculty of Medicine, in Elazig, Turkey between 1989-1995 years. He completed his residency training on ophthalmology in the Department of Ophthalmology at Firat University, Faculty of Medicine in 2001. He worked as an ophthalmologist in the Ophthalmology Clinic of Elazig State Hospital between 2002 and 2006 years. He entered the Department of Ophthalmology at Firat University as a teaching staff at the position of Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology in 2006. He worked on optical coherence tomography, fundus angiography, medical retina and vitreoretinal surgery with Prof. Dr. Murat Karacorlu in Istanbul Retina Institute for a time in 2007. He deserved the Associate Professorship in 2012 upon passing the examination for Associate Professorship in Turkey.
